Calcined Kaolin
Calcined Kaolin is an anhydrous aluminium silicate produced by heating ultrafine natural kaolin to high temperatures in a kiln. The calcination process increases whiteness and hardness, improves electrical properties, and alters the size and shape of the kaolin particles. In plastics calcined kaolins are used in PVC cables to improve electrical performance and in its coated form as a functional filler in engineering thermoplastics.
Calcium Carbonate
In our product range we have both treated and untreated Ground Calcium Carbonate (GCC), marble and chalk grades.
Carbon Black
Carbon black is mainly used as a pigment and reinforcing phase in automobile tires.
China Clay
Kaolin (china clay) is a hydrated aluminium silicate crystalline mineral (kaolinite) formed over many millions of years by the hydrothermal decomposition of granite rocks. Hydrous kaolin is characterized by its fine particle size, plate-like or lamellar particle shape and chemical inertness.
Clay

Cordierite
Cordierite is a thermal shock resistant mineral mainly used as an ingredient for making ceramic parts used in catalytic converters.
Cristobalite
Cristobalite functional fillers are engineered materials produced by high temperature modification of quartz which gives an extremely white particle with a distinctive surface morphology.
Diatomaceous Earth
Diatomaceous earth (DE or diatomite) is a naturally occurring, soft, siliceous sedimentary rock (skeletal remains of single-celled aquatic plants called diatoms) that is easily crumbled into a fine white to off-white powder. Depending on the granularity, this powder can have an abrasive feel and has a low density as a result of its high porosity.
Dolomite
Dolomite is a calcium magnesium carbonate that makes up to 2% of the earth’s crust and can be used in a wide variety of applications.
Engineered Aluminium Silicate
Our OpTiMat range is composed of engineered aluminium silicates for deep matt decorative paint formulations.
Feldspar
Feldspars are aluminosilicates. Their fusibility and purity make them a useful raw material with many industrial applications. The geological context specific to each deposit gives the feldspars a variety of physical and chemical properties, thus providing products for a full-range of ceramic and glass-making applications.
Flame Retardants
Thanks to the Sibelco product range, Deltamat-Paquet has several mineral products with good flame retardant properties:
Ground ATH, Natural Magnesium Hydroxide, Hydrated Magnesium-Calcium Carbonate, Hydrated Calcium Borate.
Fluorspar
Fluorspar or Fluorite has physical properties that allow it to be used for a wide variety of chemical, metallurgical and ceramic processes.
Fused Silica
Fused silica is used to make various refractory shapes for many high-temperature thermal processes including steelmaking, investment casting, and glass manufacture.
Glass Powder
This high quality amorphous calcium-aluminium silicate is ideal for use in Paint & Coatings.
Green Chrome Oxide
Green chrome oxide is one of the principal oxides of chromium and is used as a pigment.
Heavy & Light Kaolin
High Alumina Cement
Calcium aluminate cements are consisting predominantly of hydraulic calcium aluminates.
Hydrated Magnesium Calcium Carbonate
Iron Oxide
Iron oxides are durable pigments used in paints, coatings and colored concretes.
Kaolin
Kaolin (china clay) is a hydrated aluminium silicate crystalline mineral (kaolinite) formed over many millions of years by the hydrothermal decomposition of granite rocks. Hydrous kaolin is characterized by its fine particle size, plate-like or lamellar particle shape and chemical inertness.
Limestone
Limestone 200 ppm FeO³
Deltamat-Paquet is the sales agent for industrial applications of Calcaires de la Sambre. With its high purity and very low iron content (max 200 ppm Fe2O3), Calcaires de la Sambre has a unique product for the glass industry. Next to our standard coarse grades 0-2 mm and 0-3 mm, Calcaires de la Sambre has also developed finer fillers.
Lithopone
Lithopone is a mixture of inorganic compounds, mainly used as white pigment powder. It is composed of a mixture of barium sulfate and zinc sulfide.
Magnesite
A magnesium carbonate mineral used as a refractory material, catalyst and filler for synthetic rubber production and for the preparation of magnesium chemicals and fertilizers.
Marble granulates
Metakaolin
Mica
Mica are a group of lamellar, silicate minerals. Mica deposits are mined for mica only or in combination with other minerals such as kaolin or feldspar. We can differentiate them from other silicate minerals mainly by their high aspect ratio and elasticity. Using a variety of selection and processing methods mica are separated from the other minerals, presenting a wide range of particle sizes.
Micaceous Iron Oxide
A naturally occurring lamellar form of ferrous oxide for use in manufacturing paint coatings.
Nepheline Syenite (Minex)
Minex functional fillers offer a unique combination of physical and chemical properties, delivering premium performance in architectural, wood and powder coating systems.
Perlite
Perlite products are made from an amorphous alumino-silicate rock, which has some very special properties: it contains water, which expands into steam on heating, producing a foamed structure. The type of foaming depends very much on the hardness of the particular perlite ore, and the initial concentration of water. Only a few, select deposits have the correct characteristics for expansion.
