Sibelco
A Belgian-headquartered materials group and one of our core principals for silica and functional fillers. The Sibelco range is where most of our flame retardant work sits: ground ATH, natural magnesium hydroxide, hydrated magnesium-calcium carbonate and hydrated calcium borate, alongside barytes, nepheline syenite, quartz and bentonite.

ATH (Aluminium Hydroxide)
Aluminium hydroxide has good fire retardant properties and is very effective as a smoke suppressant in a wide range of applications such as polymers and rubber.
